We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date.However, we do not guarantee that the website or its content will always be complete, accurate or free from errors.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other rights that cannot legally be excluded.

All content on this website, including but not limited to photographs, artwork, poetry, designs, product images, graphics, logos, text and website layout, is owned by or licensed to Skye Young trading as Creating Your Beautiful, unless otherwise stated.You may view, download or print material from this website for your own personal, non-commercial use only. SHOP DESIGNS

At Creating Your Beautiful, each handmade piece is created with care and attention to detail by the shop owner, Skye Young. Our products are original designs and are handmade using a variety of materials, some of which are sourced from external suppliers. Many of our pieces are limited-edition or one-of-a-kind creations. This means that once an item has sold, the exact same piece may not be able to be recreated. If an item you love is no longer available, you are welcome to contact us about a custom-made order. While we may be able to create a piece inspired by the original design, we cannot guarantee that the same materials, fabrics or embellishments will be available. Any replacement materials may result in slight variations from the original piece. We source materials from a variety of places, including new, second-hand and vintage fabrics, embellishments and other items. Where possible, we aim to incorporate repurposed materials and make thoughtful, sustainable choices in the creation of our pieces.

WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD

Please be aware that some products available from Creating Your Beautiful may contain small parts or components that could present a choking hazard to young children. These products are not intended for children under 3 years of age. Parents and guardians should supervise children when using hair accessories or other products containing small parts and ensure that these items are kept out of reach of young children when not in use. Please read any product-specific warnings or care instructions provided with your purchase. If you have any concerns about the safety or suitability of a product, please contact us before purchasing or using it.

WARNING: PAINTED JARS AND BOTTLES

Please be aware that painted jars and bottles available from Creating Your Beautiful are intended for decorative purposes only. The paints, finishes and other materials used may not be food-safe and should not be used for storing, preparing or serving food or beverages. Keep painted jars and bottles away from heat and open flames and out of reach of young children. If you have any questions about the intended use or care of a particular item, please contact us before purchasing.

PRODUCT IMAGES

We do our best to ensure that product images accurately represent the colours, details and overall appearance of our products. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your device, monitor or screen settings. Some of our modelled photographs may include filters or styling to create the vintage aesthetic of Creating Your Beautiful. Where possible, product listings also include images that show the true colours and overall appearance of the item. Please note that handmade and vintage-inspired pieces may have slight variations or imperfections, which are part of the unique character of each individual piece.

CUSTOM MADE ORDERS

Thank you for choosing Creating Your Beautiful to create a unique handmade piece for your special event, wedding or gift. When you enquire about a custom-made order, we will discuss your ideas, the occasion, your preferred date and any specific details you’d like included. We will work with you to create a piece that reflects your vision. Once the design and details have been discussed, we will provide you with a quote. A 50% deposit is required before work begins on your custom made piece. The deposit covers the time, planning and materials required to begin your custom order. Once work has commenced, the deposit is generally non-refundable in the event of a change of mind or cancellation by the customer. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the completed item is delivered or collected. We will keep you informed throughout the creation process and discuss any significant changes that may be required. Please note that custom-made pieces may vary slightly from the original concept due to the availability of particular fabrics, embellishments, vintage materials or other components. PRIVACY POLICY

At Creating Your Beautiful, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. We collect and use personal information where necessary to process orders, provide our products and services, communicate with you, and operate and improve our website. Our website is hosted and operated using Squarespace. Squarespace and other service providers we use may process personal information on our behalf in order to provide website, payment, security and other services. When you make a purchase through our website, payments may be processed through Stripe or PayPal. Your payment information is handled by the relevant payment provider in accordance with their respective privacy and security policies. We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We do not store customers’ full payment card details on our website or systems.

ORDER INFORMATION

When you place an order through the Creating Your Beautiful website, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, billing and shipping address, telephone number, order details and payment-related information. We use this information to process and fulfil your order, arrange delivery, provide order confirmations and receipts, communicate with you about your order, and provide customer support when needed. Payment information is processed through the payment provider selected at checkout, such as Stripe or PayPal. We may also retain order information as necessary for business, accounting and record-keeping purposes, and to meet our legal obligations.

NEWSLETTER AND MARKETING:

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter or marketing communications, we may collect your name and email address so that we can send you information about Creating Your Beautiful, including new products, promotions, blog posts, events and other updates. You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in the email or by contacting us directly. We will not sell or rent your email address or personal information to third parties.

PURCHASING AND REFUNDS

We do our best to ensure that all products listed in the Creating Your Beautiful shop have accurate descriptions, photographs and details to help you make an informed purchase. Please read the product description carefully, including dimensions, materials, colours and any care or safety information, before placing your order. If you have any questions about a product before purchasing, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

CHANGE OF MIND:

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases. Please choose your items carefully before completing your purchase. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your rights to a refund, replacement, repair or other appropriate solution where applicable.

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS:

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photographs of the item and packaging. We will assess the issue and work with you to provide an appropriate refund, replacement, repair or other solution where applicable, under Australian Consumer Law.

RETURNED ORDERS:

If an order is returned to us because incorrect or incomplete shipping details were provided by you, any additional postage costs required to resend the order may be your responsibility.

SHIPPING/ DELIVERY

Creating Your Beautiful shop currently only delivers within Australia.

Orders are generally processed and packed within 1–4 business days from the date of purchase, excluding weekends and public holidays. We take care when packing your order to help ensure it arrives safely. Where possible, we use recyclable and/or compostable packaging, including sustainable tissue paper and stickers using soy-based inks. Fragile items are carefully packaged to help prevent damage during transit. We currently use bubble wrap where necessary for fragile items and encourage you to reuse or recycle it where possible. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information where tracking is available. Delivery times are estimates provided by the postal or delivery service and may vary due to circumstances outside our control. If your parcel is delayed, lost or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details. We will work with you and the relevant delivery provider to investigate the issue and determine an appropriate solution.

Express Shipping — $14.00

Tracked delivery within Australia. Estimated delivery: 1–3 business days.

PAYMENTS

We accept payments through PayPal and Squarespace payments, including eligible credit and debit cards and other payment methods available through these providers at checkout.

All payments are processed securely through the relevant payment provider. Creating Your Beautiful does not store customers’ full payment card details on our own website or systems.

DISCOUNTS

Any discount codes must be entered at checkout before completing your purchase. Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively to orders that have already been placed. Discount codes may be subject to specific terms and conditions, including expiry dates, exclusions or minimum purchase requirements, where applicable.
