SHOP DESIGNS
At Creating Your Beautiful we take special care in making sure all our products are safe, secure and made to last. All products listed in the Creating Your Beautiful shop are handmade and handcrafted with the up most care, by the shop owner Skye Young. All products are original designs and created by hand, with the exception of some materials used that are outsourced ( eg. buttons, jewels and brooches etc). Most items are limited editions - one of a kind pieces, which means that once it’s been sold that exact product cannot be re-created. However, if a product you liked is no longer in stock you can contact us for custom made orders. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to source the same materials / fabrics and that the overall look will be exactly the same, as the enquired piece. However, it can be made with the original idea in mind with slight variations.
All materials ( eg. fabrics, jewels, buttons, brooches, pre-painted/designed jars and bottles etc) used in the creation of all handmade products available in the Creating Your Beautiful shop are sourced from various different places, including some second hand/ vintage fabrics and items. We strive to be as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible in the creations of our pieces.
Warning: Choking Hazard
Please be advised that certain products provided on the Creating Your Beautiful shop may contain small parts or components that pose a choking hazard to children under the age of 3. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to ensure that the child is supervised while wearing any of the hair accessories from the Creating Your Beautiful Shop and that these items are kept out of reach of young children when not in use.
By purchasing or using our products, you acknowledge and accept the associated risks. You agree to supervise children closely while using items that may present a choking risk. Always read labels, warnings, and instructions provided with the product before use.
We disclaim any liability for injuries or damages resulting from failure to adhere to these safety recommendations. If you have any concerns regarding product safety, please contact us. Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated.
Warning About Painted Jars
Please be aware that painted jars and bottles available on the Creating Your Beautiful shop are intended solely for decorative purposes only. These jars may contain paints or finishes that are not food-safe, and using them for food storage or serving can pose health risks. While they may enhance the aesthetic of your home, it is vital to avoid using them for any items that are meant for consumption. Always choose appropriate containers for food to ensure safety and wellbeing. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep out of reach of small children.
PRODUCT IMAGES
We strive to ensure that all product images accurately represent the actual color and style of the items. However, due to variations in device monitors and screens, there may be slight discrepancies in color between what is displayed online and the final product. Additionally, we utilize filters to create a vintage effect in our modelled photographs, but we always include product images in our listings that showcase the true colours and overall style.
CUSTOM MADE ORDERS
Thank you for choosing us to create a beautiful custom made piece for your special event, wedding or gift.
All custom orders through Creating Your Beautiful are handcrafted with the utmost quality to bring our customers' ideas and visions to life. Upon receiving an inquiry for a custom order, we will discuss the occasion for the piece, the required date, and your ideas and visions. Together, we will create something truly unique and special.
Once the design is finalized, we will provide a quote. Upon your approval of the quote, a non-refundable deposit of 50% will be required to begin the creation of your custom piece. You will be involved in the entire process, allowing for any discussions or changes that may arise. Once the item is completed and you are satisfied with the final product, the remaining balance must be paid before delivery.

MINORS
The Site is not designed for individuals who are under 18 years old. We do not knowingly gather Personal Information from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and suspect that your child has supplied us with Personal Information, please reach out to us at the email address provided below to request its removal.

PURCHASING AND REFUNDS
We always do our best to ensure that each product on our shop has an accurate description and image, to represent the product in the best possible way.
Please choose your items carefully as I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind after the item has left my studio. Please ensure you read the listing details properly and noting the dimensions and colours, before you make your purchase. If you have any questions at all regarding an item, please don’t hesitate to contact us first before making a purchase.
We are not liable for any lost items or those that may be damaged during transit. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us right away with photos of the damaged package. Please include your name, order number or receipt, and any relevant information.We will initiate an investigation with the Australian postal service and we will determine a suitable resolution based on the specific circumstances involved.
Any orders that are “returned to sender” due to incorrect shipping details provided by you, will incur additional fees if it’s to be re-directed to another address.
SHIPPING/ DELIVERY
Creating Your Beautiful shop currently only delivers within Australia.
Processing and packing time is 1-4 business days from the day of purchase. The only exception to this is weekends and public holidays. All items are packed with care and love so they arrive safely to you in good condition. To minimise our impact on the environment we use recyclable and/or compostable shipping packaging when possible, as well as sustainable acid free tissue paper and stickers that use soy based inks. All fragile items are carefully packaged to prevent breakage. Currently, we utilize bubble wrap for these fragile products, but we are exploring more sustainable alternatives for the future. In the meantime, we kindly encourage you to reuse the bubble wrap when possible, rather than discarding it.
We are not responsible for any lost or damaged items that may occur during transit with Australia Post.
Please allow standard Australia Post shipping times for your parcel to arrive and we cannot be responsible for any delays.

$14.45 - Express with tracking (1 - 3 days anywhere in Australia)
PAYMENTS
We accept payments from Paypal, as well as Apple Pay, credit cards/ direct debit securely through link by Stripe.
DISCOUNTS
Any discount codes cannot be applied at checkout once the purchase is complete. If you forgot to use your discount code, please stay tuned for new offers in the future.
